NORTHWEST BLIND GOLF FOUNDATION MISSION

The Northwest Blind Golfers Foundation was established to:

Instill, promote and sustain a desire in visually impaired individuals, who might otherwise not imagine the possibilities available to them through the life long activity of golf.

Provide information, resources and assistance to friends and family members who are ready to support a visually impaired golfer.

Assist in the delivery of high quality instruction at U. S. Blind Golf Association affiliated clinics throughout the U.S. and Canada.

Collaborate with schools, commissions, and organizations for the blind to recruit participants, volunteers and players dedicated to the goal of increasing the number of blind golfers.

Encourage recreational blind golfers to consider membership in the Northwest Blind Golfers Association and/or the U.S. Blind Golf Association and compete in local or regional competition.

On a local level we try to follow the motto of the United States Blind Golf Association:
“You Don't Have To See It, To Tee It!”
